Economical Tanto
This tanto is easily made and therefore affordable. It is made from 1086 carbon steel with rayskin and leather cord wrapping. The butt is exposed and designed to rust, simulating a rusted tang on a sword. SOLD
Big Bertha Tanto in Shirasaya
Large Tanto blade measuring 30cm cutting edge and tapering from 7mm thick at habaki. Nice hamon with lots of ashi and nie. Habaki is copper with chisseled mountains pattern. Plain Shirashaya with buffalo horn mouth that is oval in shape and laquered for protection against grubby hands. SOLD
Japanese Bowie
Blade forged from crowbar steel and clay quenched to produce Hamon. Handle has Rayskin, fisherman menuki and Cotton ito cord. Fuchi&Kashira made from black micarta. Saya is a tiger stripe laquer effect of smooth and rough finish. SOLD

A custom ordered tanto made from 1050 carbon steel. with bo-hi grooves large and small. Large 35mm sori. shirasaya from jelutong with baffalo horn. SOLD
White Tanto
1050 carbon steel blade 22cm long. Hickory handle with Grade1 same and Ivory silk ito. Antiqued copper fuchi-kashira and gold coloured shitadome. Chicken & rooster menuki. Gun blued steel tsuba. Black laquered saya. SOLD
Blossom Tanto
Another commisioned blade. This time working to Alex's drawings to produce a Tanto in full Koshirae. The Fuchi Kashira are antiqued steel/iron with bronze inlays to match the Menuki that Alex requested. Tsuba is plain forged and also antiqued with forging scale left on for surface effect. Fuchi and Tsuba both signed by me. Blade is 1050 with signed tang. Saya in black laquer and buffalo horn fittings with gold laquered blossom and bulbs to match other fittings. SOLD
